Quiz: Who are the historians in organizations?

A – Top Management

B – Accountants

C – Middle Management

D – The Secretaries

E – The Lawyers

WHY?

Answer - If nothing else, a good accountant is better be able to reconstruct what has happened in the past (the numbers ultimately are the most concrete). By the way, just because accountants are good at reconstructing the financial activities of an organization and auditing the accounts and statements to ensure their accuracy from an historical standpoint, doesn’t mean that are also good at projecting them into the future (e.g., pro forma statements)
